Career Development Program – How To Find My Career?

There is a breakthrough thought process in the way Career Development has been viewed by most professionals. And this is rather easy and simple. Are you aware of this new shift in the thought? Well, it may not be correct to term it as new on the face of it, since the approach has been always there. Its about the ‘timing’ that the thought becomes new!

The day you realize that your career is yours and you should find the answers to your several questions about your career, you discover the powerful insight.

And that is the breakthrough in the thought process. You start to view your career in a completely new light!

I often have young professionals asking me ” How Do I Find My Career Answers?” There are so many questions, dilemmas and apprehensions. Let me tell you, most of these exist because most people do no know what kind of Career Development program they want for themselves.

If you design your carer development program yourself, you can proudly execute it too. That will help you race ahead of others.

In an interview, one of the questions that candidates ask an employer is :

“Is there an opportunity for my career development in your organization?”

The thought that I want such professionals to ponder upon is – Every organization has an opportunity but are you ready to take up that opportunity?

Most professionals assume that the organization that offers career development opportunities, will develop their careers!

Fundamentally, careers are to be developed by the professional himelf/herself. The organization can facilitate this by providing adequate opportunities to realize such career aspirations. Organizations do not develop peoples’ careers!

There are professional who can be considered as Career Builders on their own because they have a career development plan for themselves and they relentlessly work towards making their careers. This is what sets them apart from the millions of other professionals who only aspire to have a career and rest the responsibility of their career development with the organization they work for.

The professionals who believe in the breakthrough thought, “Career Development Program” – My Career, My Way usually end up making a sustainable and successful career.

Many youngsters aspire to join an organization who offers career to young aspirants. Good for starters, but that does not mean your role ends by just joining the organization and then it becomes their responsibility.

Career Development is always your responsibility!

Once you institutionalize this thought within yourself, your dependence on an organization to make your career vanshies!

As a consequence, you can design your own Career Development Program and stop struggling with the haunting question: How To Find My Career?
